이번 앨범은 2020년 8월 25일 발표한 싱글 [NO MORE] 이후 1년 5개월 만에 선보이는 솔로 앨범으로 타이틀 곡 ‘DESSERT’ 포함하여 총 5곡이 수록되어 있다.
환상, 환각이라는 의미의 [Illusion]은 모두가 꿈꾸는 환상, 그 환상을 세련된 멋을 보여주는 시크함과 꿈꾸는 환상 그 자체인 몽환적인 모습을 한데 담았다.
